i found this painting of clouds in oil on pre-stretched and -primed canvas at the post office and thought "i know a thing or two about clods." a 9in. x 12in. piece of acrylic sheeting fronts the painting partly for the glare and partly because that is part of framing. the frame is wrapped clear duct tape, as many rolls so as to pull away from the piling-up and deform itself from the tension. the frame has since pulled away so much, given atmospheric conditions, that i have had to wrap another so many rolls of clear duct tape around as to begin pulling away again. i anticipate this will continue. work in progress. approx. 11in. x 14in. x 4in. + mixed materials, here. 2006

Materials: found and formed canvas, marking lime, blue snap-line chalk, hanging hardware (varies), trompe l'oiel architectural element. Approximately: 12 ft. x 12ft. footprint, height varies. 2005
The colors are relative to. The spots on the ground under each hung element is from raising it, dropping it, and raising it again to hang. Chalk falls off, like cleaning erasers used to.
